Staveley & Copgrove Village Hall

Hall Users & Weekly Activities

Staveley & Copgrove Village Hall is home to a wide range of regular organisations and community groups. These groups use the hall throughout the week for meetings, activities, and social events, helping to keep it at the heart of village life. The table below lists our regular users and their usual booking times. If you are planning a new booking, please check this information first to see whether the hall is likely to be available. If you have any questions or are unsure about availability, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

The Clogarhythm team practise their clog dance routines on Mondays throughout the year (these are not every week so please check our website for dates). The routines have their origins mainly in the industrial parts of the North of England and are accompanied by a solo instrumentalist playing the concertina or melodeon.

We are a fun and friendly group of Mums, Dads, Grandparents, Childminders and, of course, children (aged 0-5 years) who meet each Wednesday morning 9:30-11.00am during term time. There are plenty of toys and activities for the children to enjoy. We include children’s snack time with tea and coffee for the adults. We usually finish with story time and singing our favourite songs. We charge £2 for the first child and £1 for each subsequent child. There is no need to book, just turn up!
