Hall Hire Terms & Guidelines
Before hiring Staveley & Copgrove Village Hall, we ask all hirers to read and understand our terms and conditions of use. These guidelines are in place to ensure the hall remains safe, well-managed, and enjoyable for everyone. The information below outlines responsibilities, usage rules, and expectations during your hire. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with these details before confirming your booking. - Cancellation of bookings are free of charge up until one week before the commencement of hire after which the hirer will be charged the full hire costs.
- The premises must be left clean and tidy with any breakages or malfunctions reported. The hirer will be charged for any cleaning costs and damages incurred.
- Please respect the surroundings of the hall. Hirers are responsible for monitoring and ensuring that noise and disturbance from the hall and car park is at an acceptable level.
- The hirers are responsible for removing all recyclable waste including glass, tins, plastic and cardboard.
- If the sale of alcohol is planned a temporary licensing event application must be made to Harrogate Borough Council. The village hall administrator must be notified. The hirers are responsible for adhering to the terms of the license.
- No apparatus or equipment may be left on the premises without permission. All equipment bought in by the hirer is the hirer’s responsibility for insurance purposes.
- The hirer must be over 18 years of age.
