STAVELEY & COPGROVE VILLAGE HALL GRANT MONIES

Dear villager

During the pandemic the Village Hall was fortunate to receive grant monies from the government as compensation for not being able to open its facilities.

The committee have decided that up to £20,000 should be ring fenced for capital expenditure in order to improve the facilities available for both villagers and the wider community.

This an exciting opportunity to upgrade the village hall and we seek your help and support.

The committee feel that consultation should be extended to all residents as after all it is your village hall and accordingly we invite you to submit your ideas, schemes or projects with a likely idea of costs.

In addition we feel it is appropriate that a task force comprising of some members of the village hall committee and, importantly  residents should be formed to oversee this spend.
